Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering (CIAE) is a premier institute of India. It is located in Bhopal. It conducts research activities in Agricultural Engineering areas. Institute's thrust areas are - facilitate agricultural mechanisation, conserve soil and water through land development and efficient irrigation and drainage equipment, post-harvest and value addition of agro waste produce and efficient utilization of renewable and non-renewable sources of energy in agriculture. Institute conducts short term courses for entrepreneurs.
