Govt. Polytechnic College for Women Kandaghat is the only College for women of the state of H.P. established in 1984. College offers three year diploma courses, each having an intake of 60 Students every year. These courses are - Computer Engineering and Electronics & Communication. College also provide course in Pharmacy which is a two year diploma. Admission is through the Polytechnic Admission Test conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board.
