National Institute of Immunology (NII) is a premier institute of India. It is located in Delhi. It conducts research in basic mechanisms involved in body's defence, host-pathogen interactions and related areas. The Institute imparts long term research training leading to a PhD degree of the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Opportunities for short-term/summer trainees in the Institute are available through sponsored programmes such as the KVPY, JNCASR, INSA.
