The
Engineering College and Administrative Management College are
housed in 42 acres campus, having more than 1,20,000 built-up
area with Cricket ground, basket ball, Volley ball and 400 metre
track facilities.
The Engineering College has full fledged Laboratories and Modern
class rooms accommodated in permanent RCC buildings. The Labs
for Computer and Electronic devices are being developed in full
fledged way and the excellent Laboratories developed for basic
labs - Physics Laboratory, Chemistry Laboratory, Basic Computer
Laboratory and Workshops.
Administrative Management College, better known as AMC is a
mega conglomerate of educational institutions offering educational
programmes with a large portfolio from KG to PG. All these institutions
are being managed by Paramahamsa Foundation Trust which was
established in 1983 with the prime objective to promote high
quality education. Due to the vision, commitment and dedication
of the Founder Chairman Dr. K. R. Paramahamsa, Ph.D. The group
has witnessed an exponential growth in the field of professional
education and has become a symbol of quality education.
The Trust placed enormous emphasis on developing right kind
of physical infrastructure which it is strongly believed, a
foundation for imparting quality education. Towards this end,
the foundation has procured 42 acres of land at 18th K.M., Bannerghatta
Main Road, Bangalore and constructed building to house its Engineering
College, Post-graduate programmes, law-college and AMC - American
School.
Similarly, the foundation has been according highest priority
to strengthen intellectual infrastructure by recruiting experienced
faculty with excellent track record of teaching and research.

RESOURCE:
In any academic institution faculty constitutes to be the backbone.
It is faculty strength the contributes significantly in providing
quality education and in enhancing image of the institute. AMC
is no exception to this fact.
Keeping this in view, AMC initiated to pursue the policies to
select well-qualified and experienced faculty. Having realized
the fact that the budding managers require an amalgam of academic
concepts and industrial experiences, AMC has built up a string
team of faculty with academic distinction and professional excellence.
THE
LIBRARY:
The budding professionals of AMC have access to a wide range
of information in print and electronic media. AMC Central Library
is the knowledge warehouse with well stocked books and journals
of both Indian and Foreign origin. The total number of books
under the possession of library is over 12,000 in various disciplines
of management and computer science.
THE SPECIAL FACILITIES AVAILABLE AT A.M.C.
AMC is a well established institute conducting a number of full-time
& part-time courses at different levels. The Courses are recognized
by the Govt. of Karnataka and approved by All India council
for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi (Wherever necessary).
The college has a close and developing relationship with all
sections of the community and enjoys the support and encouragement
of professional, commercial and industrial organization.
AMC enjoys strong and good staff/student relations and offers
all advantages of a large institution. The college is devoted
to providing high quality education for its students while allowing

COMPUTERS:
AMC has the advanced state of the art computer facilities
with 100 nodes connected to a Windows NT server (100 MBPS)
Unix server and internet server at City Premises and 90 nodes
connected to a Windows NT server (100 MBPS) Unix server and
internet server at Bannerghatta Campus with high network as
unique features. It provides the students with hands and experience
learning the state of the art technology.
EDUCATIONAL TOURS
The College conducts special educational tours of industrial
places within the country. It has also conducted educational
tours for management students to Thailand. Such tours are
conducted once in every year. This gives the students an exposure
to working environment and real work situations.
AWARDS
Every year AMC awards its students in the fields of academics,
personal achievements and cultural activities.
AMC presents the Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for the rank
holders at all levels. It also awards prestigious trophies
for music and art competitions, literary activities and sports.
EDUCATIONAL AND CAREER COUNSELLING
AMC believes that career is an integral part of the total
educational process. Emphasis is placed upon career planning
in fields which utilizes the students abilities, experience
and interests. The career planning cell, consisting of faculty
members with professional experience offers guidance to students
in preparing and planning for their careers. Students can
be assured of receiving the best guidance and advice on higher
education career opportunities and job opportunities.
SYMPOSIA AND SEMINARS
Conducted as an annual feature organized by the special committee
and the students club in which guest speakers of repute from
public as well as the private sector share their knowledge,
experience and views with faculty and students. This annual
feature also provides an opportunity to the students to exhibit
their organising skills, build contacts and develop public
speaking skills.
TRANSPORT
The college has 10 buses to provide transport facilities to
the students from various parts of the city to the College
Campus.
CULTURAL & SPORTS ACTIVITIES
Modern education lays special emphasis on total personality
development of an individual. It is felt that alongside academic
activities, one needs a healthy exposure to other aspect of
life too. To make a student socially aware, sensitive and
a thinking human, it is necessary that his other mental faculties
are also excited & exploited to the fullest/maximum.
To provide a much-needed diversion from studies, a number
of co-curricular activities are necessary, which not only
help in getting an intellectual & aesthetic experience to
a student but also form a training ground for organisational
ability.
As such, the college has been holding various Literary &
Cultural competitions annually. Healthy inter-departmental
competitions bring out the competitive spirit of a student
besides providing him an insight into his own personality.
These competitions also help build confidence in a student
enough to participate in various inter-collegiate competitions
& win laurels for himself and the college too!
In recognition of these facts, the college has instituted
various departmental trophies for excellence in these co-curricular
activities besides many individual prizes.
Each year a new cultural committee is formed to provide opportunity
to a large number of students to test their leadership qualities.
This committee's major activities are to hold a number of
literary competitions such as creative writing Debate etc.
and cultural competitions like Dramatics, Music, Dance & also
Flower arrangement, Rangoli etc. for the aesthetically oriental.
A large number of students participate in these activities
enthusiastically and benefit from the experience. To top it
all, the best of these performances are staged on the college
Annual Day to showcase the talents AMC.
