Management Exam in BIHAR



Reservations
SC/ST, Backward and girl candidates (as per rules). NRIs/foreign students 5 seats.

Eligibility MBA Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (10+2+3). Candidates appearing at the final year degree exam may apply provisionally. MBA (PT) Sponsored graduates with 3 Yrs experience in business/industry; they are exempted from the test.

Application Procedure Application form and information package can be obtained from the Registrar of the college on cash payment of Rs. 200 or through bank draft of Rs. 225, if required by post. Completed applications together with registration fee should reach the college by the notified date.

Selection All India entrance test conducted by the college or MAT conducted by All India Management Association, New Delhi. Shortlisted candidates are called for group discussion and interview.

Engineering Exam in BIHAR

BIHAR COMBINED ENTRANCE COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION (BCECE) is conducted by the Bihar

Council for Combined Entrance Competitive Examination constituted by the State Government for admission to Bse ( Engg)/B Arch /B Tech ( Agril Engg)/B Tech (Dairy Tech) courses at the following colleges: Bhagalpur College of Engineering, Bhagalpur; Bihar College of Engineering, Patna; Bihar Institute of Technology, Sindri; Maulana Azad College of Engineering and Technology, Patna; Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology, Muzaffarpur; Regional Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur (50%) and other Regional Engineering Colleges in the country (50%) Bihar quota; College of Agricultural Engineering, Pusa, Samastipur; and Sanjay Gandhi Inst. of Dairy Technology, Patna. Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra and Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad have framed separate admission rules.

Admission
is open to Bihar natives/domiciled/refugees. Exceptions Government of India nominees; Children of
employees of State/Central Govt./Public Sector Undertakings/UN agencies located in the State of Bihar. For admission in Regional Engineering Colleges, candidates should have passed the qualifying exam from institutions located in Bihar.

Reservations SC 14% ST 10% BC 10% EBC 14% ( Women 2%). I seat in each college for children/dependents of Ex-servicemen, disabled defence personnel. Seats are reserved for Govt. of India/State nominees.

Eligibility Inter (Sc)/10+2 with Phy, Chem and Maths or equivalent. Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying exam are also eligible. Candidates should be medically fit.

Application Procedure
Application form and syllabus for the entrance exam can be obtained from the Engineering Colleges/notified agencies on payment of Rs. 100. Completed applications with exam fee of Rs. 275 should reach appropriate authority by the notified date.

Selection
is made on merit in BCECE conducted at various centres in the State. The test comprises papers of 1.30 hours duration each on Physics, Chemistry & Maths of qualifying exam standard. Separate merit list is prepared for general/reserved categories. List of successful candidates is notified in leading State newspapers /colleges.

Medical Exam in BIHAR


COMBINED MEDICAL EDUCATION ENTRANCE TEST (CMEET) is conducted for admission to MBBS/BDS (including BAM/BHMS/BUMS and Diploma in Physiotherapy and Ophthalmic Assistant) courses at: A N Medical College, Gaya; Darbhanga Medical College, Laheriasarai; J L N Medical College, Bhagalpur; M G M Medical College Jamshedpur, Nalanda Medical College, Patna; Patliputra Medical College, Dhanbad; Patna Medical College, Patna; Rajendra Medical College; Ranchi, S K Medical College Muzaffarpur and Patna Dental College, Patna.

Admission is open to Indian citizens and Bihar natives. Following satisfy the Bihar natives: (a) Candidates whose father/mother have been residents of Bihar for 10 yrs; (b) Children of Central Govt employees serving in the State; (c) Children of State employees/members of All India Services on Bihar cadre; (d) Candidates whose parents are not alive may apply with 10 yrs residence certificate from DM.

Reservations All India quota 15% SC 14% ST 10% MBC 14% BC 10% Girl candidates 2% Seats are available for Govt of India, TISCO, Coal Mines Welfare organisation and SSLNT nominees.

Eligibility Age 17 yrs on December 31 of the year of admission Academic qualification 12 yrs Sr Sec with Eng, Phy, Chem, and Biol with 50% aggregate marks. Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying exam can apply. Candidates should be medically fit.

Application Procedure Application form and prospectus can be obtained from the medical/dental colleges on payment of Rs. 25 through IPO/bank draft in favor of the College. Completed applications alongwith the bank draft of Rs. 125 (Rs. 50 for SC/ST) with two self addressed stamped envelopes of 9"*4" should be submitted by Regd post to the Principal of the College (which is also centre for test) according to the district where the candidate has passed the qualifying exam by the notified date. Girl candidates may apply to any one of the centres. Sponsored candidates are required to forward their application to concerned college through the sponsoring agency.

Selection Merit in CMEET which is of Intermediate standard. The test is conducted in Phy, Chem, Bot and Zool (30 marks each) in one sitting of 2 hours duration at different centres in the State. The questions are set in English and Hindi; the answer block is however required to be filled in English numericals. Candidates are required to obtain 50% (40% for SC/ST) marks to qualify the test. Inter-se merit is determined on the basis of marks secured in biology/zoology/chemistry papers.
