POLICE SUB-INSPECTORS' EXAM
This examination is held generally once
a year for recruitment to Sub-Inspectors'
in Delhi Police.
The examination is held generally in the
month of May. Blank application forms and
other particulars are published in the Employment
News, usually in the month of Feb. The last
date for submission of applications is usually
2nd week of January.
Initial Pay:
About Rs. 6000 in the scale of Rs. 5500-175-9000.
Age:
20 to 25 years on the 1st January of the
year of exam. Upper age limit is relaxable
for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes.
Other Backward Classes, Ex-Servicemen/displaced
persons/Defence Services Personnel/repatriates
etc., according to Government orders in
force.
Educational Qualifications:
Degree of a recognized University.
Examination Fee:
Rs. 50 (Rupees Fifty only). No fee for Scheduled
Castes/Scheduled Tribes and
Ex-servicemen.
Plan of the Examination:
The examination comprises: (t) Written test
in the subjects set in Para 8 below, and
Interview or Personality Test for such candidates
as may qualify in the written test.

allowed and the maximum marks for each subject
