A Competitive Examination for
admission to M.B.A. (fulltime) two-year programme
and two-year Public Systems Management is held every
year generally in the month of January. The course
generally commences in July. The particulars of the
examination are published in the Employment News and
leading newspapers, generally in the month of Sept.,
of the previous year. The last date of submission
of applications is generally fourth week of November.
Eligibility:
The candidates must have pursued at least 3-year Bachelor's
Degree programme after 10+2 scheme in any of the following
disciplines. The minimum eligibility conditions are:
· Arts, Commerce or Social Sciences 50%.
· Science 55%.
· Mathematics or Statistics-60%.
· Medicine, Engineering or Technology-60%.
Or
· Post-graduate or 2nd Degree examination after 10+2+3
scheme securing at least 60%.
Minimum Age:
20 years before the 1st October of the year of examination.
Application Procedure:
The admission forms for general category candidates
for MBA (FT) programme can be obtained from the State
Bank of India from mid-October to the last week of
November on cash payment of the requisite amount.
The candidates can also obtain the application forms
personally from the office of Faculty of Management
Studies and S.P. Jain Advanced Management Research
Center (South Campus) against a bank draft of the
requisite amount in favour of the Registrar, University
of Delhi, drawn on State Bank of India, Delhi University
Branch.
Selection:
Admission Test and Interview for these programmes
will be held at Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal,
Mumbai, Calcutta, Chandigarh, Kanpur, Chennai, Patna
and Trivendrum.
