This examination is conducted by the Indian Merchants Chamber every year usually in the month of May.

The examination is conducted in the following five subjects:

· Accountancy
· Banking
· Business Organization
· Insurance
· Secretarial Organization.

The successful candidates are awarded the Diploma (D.Com.) of the Indian Merchants Chamber.
