is the latest IIM, established by the Government
of India with the support of the Government
of Madhya Pradesh. IIMI's initial focus
is on teaching, management development programmes,
research, and consultancy. IIM,

technologies! Facilities?
Campus: The institute's campus, with
all modern facilities will be located on
150 acres of land at Rau, Indore. IIMI currently
has about 25,000 sq. feet area for its exclusive
use at its temporary premises at Rajendra
Nagar. Classrooms are air-conditioned with
all the modern teaching aids including multimedia
PC, projector, motorised screen, etc. Single
seater accommodations are available in the
men's hostel and a separate women's hostel.
Network: IIMI has set up a Campus
wide LAN which connects individual rooms
in the Hostels to the Internet and the Library.
This enables Students to have 7 days/24
hours access to the Internet and Library
resources right from their rooms making
it easier to access such vital resources.
IIMI is the only IIM which is currently
able to provide such facility. Classrooms,
Faculty Offices and Administration also
are connected via the same LAN.
Library: A predominantly electronic
library is being set up. Databases like
CMIE Prowess, Econlit, Vanscom, World Development
Reports, etc, are already available on line.
The library also subscribes to ABI-Inform
database, which provides full text information
on about 600 international journals and
abstracts of another about 400 journals
for the past several years. Besides, the
library also subscribes to more than 100
additional journals in print versions.
