Competitive Examinations in Haryana

Management Exam in HARYANA



Allocation of Seats Haryana candidates 50% All India candidates 50% Reservations 30 seats in MBA and 10 seats each in MBA (IB), MBA (F) and MBA (M) are reserved for NRIs/foreign nationals, Industry sponsored candidates. COMMON DETAIL (Also applicable to university affiliated institutes).

Eligibility Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks (Pass marks for SC/ST). Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible.

Application Procedure Prospectus and application form can be obtained from the Guru Jambheshwar University/Management Institutes in the State on Cash payment of Rs. 50 or by post by sending bank draft for Rs. 65 in favour of registrar, Guru Jambheshwar University, Hisar. Completed application with entrance test fee of Rs. 400 should reach the Department by the notified date.

Selection Common written test at Chandigarh, Delhi and Hisar. Shortlisted candidates are called for group discussion and interview at Hisar.

Engineering Exam in HARYANA

 

COMMON ENGINEERING ENTRANCE TEST (CEET) is conducted by Regional Engineering College, Kurukshetra for admission to BE/BTech/BArch courses at the Government and Private Engineering colleges in the State of Haryana.

COMMON DETAILS are given hereunder:


Allocation of Seats Free Seats All seats in Government engineering colleges and 50% seats in private engineering colleges. Payment Seats 50% seats including NRIs in private engineering colleges. Payment seats are filled on CEET merit first from the candidates from Haryana and any such payment seat remaining vacant is filled from the candidates from outside Haryana

Reservations SC/ST, BC, Armed Forces personnel, Children of Freedom Fighters, Physically handicapped sports persons.
Domicile Haryana residents (80% of seats are reserved for candidates passing the qualifying exam from schools/collage located in Haryana and 20% seats for Haryana domicile irrespective of the location of Institute from where the candidate has passed qualifying exam). Candidates from outside Haryana are eligible for payment seats.

Eligibility Senior Secondary Certificate Exam (10+2) from Haryana Board/CBSE or equivalent in Eng., Phy, Chem and Maths with 50% marks in PCM. Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying exam are also eligible for CEET. Candidates should be medically fit. 3-yr Diploma holders from Haryana Board of Technical Education are eligible for admission to the second year of Technical Education are eligible for admission to the second year of BE/B Teach course under ‘Lateral Entry Scheme’.

Application Procedure CEET Brochure containing syllabi for the test and other details together with the application form can be obtained on cash payment of Rs. 350 from the Regional Engineering, College, Kurukshetra 136119 or by post on payment of Rs. 375 through bank draft. Completed application should reach the RE by the notified date.

Selection Merit in CEET consisting of objective type multiple choice questions in Phy, Chem and Maths. Test Centres: Ambala, Bhiwani, Chandigarh, Delhi, Faridabad, Grunion, Hisar, Kurukshetra and Sonepat. CEET result is communicated individually to all the candidates.

Admission After the declaration of CEET results, the candidates re required to apply to the Chairman, Admission Committee, Regional Engineering College, Kurukshetra 136119 for centralised admission to any of the Engineering Institutes. Application form can be obtained from REC, Kurukshetra on cash payment of Rs. 250 or Rs. 275 through bank draft, if required by post.

Medical Exam in HARYANA

MDDS/BDS ENTRANCE EXAMINATION is conducted by Maharshi Dayanand University for admission to the Pt B D Sharma Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Rohtak (115 seats); Maharaja Agarsen Institute of Medical Research & Education, Agroha (35); Dental College, Rohtak (20) and DAV Centenary Dental College, Yamuna Nagar (40) and B R S Institute of Medical Sciences/Dental College and Hospital,
Kotbilla (Panchkula) (60).

Admission is open to Residents of Haryana. Candidates should have studied X,XI and XII Std from an institution located in Haryana. Exceptions Govt of India nominees.

MAHARAJA AGARSEN INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL RESEARCH AND EDUCATION AGROHA All India entrance 15% Govt of India nominee 1 seat SC/ST 6 Socially, economically, educationally weaker sections of society (other than SC/ST/BC candidates) 2 I1 for girls) BC 3 Children of deceased/disabled/officers/ JCOs/ex-servicemen 2 Children/grand-children of freedom figher including INA Personnel 1.

DENTAL COLLEGE, ROHTAK ALL India Entrance 15% BC 2 Govt of India nominees. DAV CENTENARY DENTAL COLLEGTE SC/ST 5 seats BC 2 Children of ex-servicemen1.

Eligibility Age 17 yrs on December 31 of the year of admission. Academic qualification 12 yrs Sr Sec with Eng, Phy, Chem and Biol securing 50% (40% for SC/ST) aggregate marks. Candidates with BSc/BVSc/BSc (Nursing)/MSc qualifications securing 50% aggregate marks are eligible; they should have passed the qualifying exam (12th class) with Eng, Phy, Chem, Biol. Candidates, whose results are awaited, can apply. Candidates should be medically fit.

Application Procedure Prospectus containing admission form and syllabus for entrance exam can be obtained from the Assistant Registrar, (Publications), M D University, Rohtak 124001 on cash payment of Rs 250 or as notified. Completed applications should be sent by registered post/personally to the Controller of Examinations of the university by the notified date.

Candidates applying for nomination against reserved seats are required to submit the application through the appropriate authority.

Selection Merit in entrance exam and interview held at Rohtak. The test consists of papers on Phy & Chem (combined) and Bot & Zool (combined) of 2 hours duration each with objective type questions of 300 marks. Medium—English. In case of tie, marks obtained in qualifying exam are taken into consideration. A merit list of candidates (1 ˝-2 times) called for interview, is displayed in the university/colleges.
