Exam in MADHYA PRADESH
Professional
Examination Board, MP conducts JOINT ENTRANCE TEST for admission to MBA
and allied courses (regular and part-time) in all Management Institutes/University
Departments in the State. COMMON DETAILS are given hereunder:
Allocation of seats MP candidates 50% All India candidates 50%.
Eligibility Graduate (10+2+3)/Postgraduate in any discipline with
50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST/OBC category). Candidates appearing
in final year degree exam can apply for provisional admission. For part-time
course, employed candidates are eligible.
Application Procedure Application form and prospectus can be obtained
from the office of Professional Examination Board, Bhopal or from the
Universities/ Management Institutions in the State on cash payment of
Rs. 125. The form can also be obtained from the office of the Board by
post by sending a bank draft of Rs. 150. Completed application alongwith
entrance test fee of Rs. 500 through bank draft should reach the Controller,
Professional Examination Board. Chayan Bhawan, Main Road No. 1, Chinar
Park (East), Bhopal 462 011 by the notified date.
Selection On the basis of Joint Entrance Test conducted at various
centres in the country. The test contains objective type questions on
proficiency in English; quantitative & numerical ability; ability
for data analysis & interpretation; reasoning & general intelligence
and awareness of socio-economic environment. Short-listed candidates are
called for group discussion and interview at Bhopal.
Engineering
Exam in MADHYA PRADESH
PRE-ENGINEERING
TEST (PET) is
conducted by Professional Examination Board, Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal
for admission to BE/BArch/BTech (Agril Engg) and BTech (Dairy Tech)
courses in : (I) Government Engineering Colleges; (ii) Private Engineering
Colleges;
(iii) Autonomous Institutions; and (iv) M P quota seats in Regional
Engineering Colleges.
Exemption
from PET Government of India nominees, diploma holders and
NRIs.
COMMON
DETAILS are given hereunder:
Allocation of Seats Free Seats All seats in Government Engineering
Collates and 50% seats in private engineering colleges are open to M
P residents. Payment Seats 50% seats including NRIs in private engineering
colleges, which are also, open to outside MP students.
Domicile
(MP Candidates) Candidates should have studied in State institutions
for 3 consecutive years during 5 years preceding the year in which admission
is sought or bonafide resident of MP or sons/daughters of : (a) State
Govt. employees/All India Service (State cadre); (b) Central Govt/Public
Sector Undertakings employees posted in the State;
(c) Persons settled in MP under resettlement scheme.
Reservations
SC, ST, OBC Physically Handicapped, Agriculturists, Freedom
Fighters, Defence personnel, candidates who have passed + 2 exam from
technical stream discipline.
Eligibility
12 yrs Sr Sec (10+2) of Board of Secondary Education or equivalent
with Phy, Chem, Maths and English. Compartmental candidates are not
considered. Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying exam are
also eligible. Candidates should be physically fit.
Application
Procedure Application form and PET Rule Book can be obtained
from the MP Professional Examination Board, ‘Chayan Bhavan’ Main Road
No. 1, Chinar Park (East), Bhopal 462011 or as notified on cash payment
of Rs. 50. The form can also be obtained by post from VYAPAM office
on payment of bank draft of Rs.70, if required by Regd post and reach
the VYAPAM office by the notified date.
Selection
is based on merit in PET conducted at 23 cities in Madhya Pradesh
and Delhi, Jaipur, Lucknow and Nagpur. The test is of +2 standared in
Phy, Chem and Maths containing objective type questions of 300 marks
each. Specimen questions are given in the prospctus. Merit list is prepare
by the Board coursewise, which is then notified in the leading newspapers/colleges.
Successful candidates are also informed individually.
Fees
Free Seats Rs. 2,000 per annum. Payment Seats Rs. 30,000 per
annum.

PRE-MEDICAL/PHARMACY/NURSING
TEST (PMT)
for admission
to MBBS/BDS BPharm/BSc (Nursing) courses is conducted by Professional
Examination Board, Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal at the following College:
MBBS Gajra Raja Medical College, Gwalior; Gandhi Medical College,
Bhopal; Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College, Jabalpur; MGM
Medical College, Indore; Pt Jawaharlal Nahru Memorial Medical College,
Raipur, Shyam Shah Medical College, Rewa. BDS College of Dentistry,
Indore. Exemptions Government of India nominees.
COMMON DETAILS are given hereunder:
Admission
is open to Indian Citizens and M P natives. Following satisfy the
MP nativity (a) Bonafide resident of MP (b) Candidates should have
been educated in educational institutions in the State for 3 consecutive
years during the 5 years immediately preceding the year of admission:
(c) Children of a pensioner/employee of MP Govt OR Central Govt/Public
Sector Undertaking/Officers of All India Service on MP Cadre.
Reservations
All India Entrance 15% SC 15% ST 21% OBC 14% Seats are also reserved
for children of Military personnel, Freedom Fighters, Physically Handicapped
and Govt of India nominees.
Eligibility
Age 17 years on 1st July of the year of the test.
Academic qualification 12 yrs Sr Sec with Phy, Chem, Biol and
Eng. BPharm 12 yrs Sr Sec with Phy, Chem, Biol/Maths. Candidates who
have appeared in the qualifying exam are also eligible. Candidate
should be medically fit.

Examination Board or Medical Colleges on cash payment of Rs. 50. The
form can also b obtained from Professional Examination Board on payment
of RS 80/100. Completed applications with exam fee of RS 300 should
reach the Controller, Professional Examination Board, Chayan Bhawan
Main Road No.1, Chinar Park (East),. Bhopal 462011 by the notified
date.
Selection
Merit in PMT conducted at various centres in the State. The test of
qualifying (12th Std) exam is conducted in Phy, Chem, Bot and Zool
and English. Marks obtained in English are not added in the aggregate
for determining the merit; however candidates have to secure 25% marks.
Merit list is prepared course/category-wise and is notified in local
dailies/colleges. The Director, Medical Education offer provisional
admission to the selected candidates in Medical Colleges and College
of Dentistry, Indore. In case of BPharm course the test is conducted
in Phy, Chem, Biol/Maths. Allocation of institution is done on the
basis of merit-cum-preference.
