Application procedure Prospectus and admission form can be obtained from the University Cashier on cash payment of Rs. 100 or from the Co-ordinator, (MBA Admission) by sending Rs. 125 through IPO/bank draft payable to the Registrar, GND University, if required by post. Completed application alongwith exam fee or Rs. 500 (Rs. 300 for SC/ST) should reach the university by the notified date.

Selection Written test (at the campus) in general English, problem solving, business aptitude, and GK containing objective type/short-answer question. Shortlisted candidates are called for group discussion and interview.

Fees (per annum) Indian Students Rs. 3,600 NRIs/Foreign students US $ 10,000.

Summer Training Obligatory summer training of 6-8 weeks duration in an organisation and to submit project report for evaluation.

Engineering Exam in PUNJAB

CINNIB ENTRANCE TEST (CET) is conducted by Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar for admission to BE/BTech/BArch/Planning)/BTech (Aril Engg.) courses in the Engineering Institutions and Departments of university located in the State of Punjab.

Admission is open to candidates who have passed qualifying exam from institutions located in Punjab. Seats are also available for candidates passing qualifying exam from institutions located outside Punjab. Allocation of seats, conditions of domicile and eligibility vary from institution to institution.

Reservations SC 15%, ST 7, Be 5% Seats are also reserved for handicapped, sports persons, Defence personnel, terrorist victims, rural areas, political sufferers, Freedom Fighters, NRIs etc.

Allocation of Seats Free Seats All seats in Governments/University Institutions and 50% seats in private colleges. Payment Seats 50% seats in private colleges.

Eligibility 10+2 (Science stream) exam with English, Phy, Chem, and Maths or its equivalent. Candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering/Technology from the Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training with 60% marks are also eligible. Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying exam can appear in CET. Candidates should be physically fit.

Application Procedure Application form and CET Information Brochure can be obtained from the Coordinator, CET Punjab Technical University, and Jalandhar 144011 on cash payment of RS 175 or RS 200 by bank draft in favour of Registrar, Punjab Technical University, if required by post. Comopleted applications with entrance test fee of Rs. 500 (Rs. 600 for candidates desirous of appearing in Architectural Aptitude paper also) should reach the Coordinator by the notified date.

Selection Merit in Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted in Phy, Chem, and Maths at various centres in the State and also at Chandigarh, Delhi, Jammu, and Kurukshetra. Admission of candidates to Architecutre course is made as per their merit position in CET secured on the basis of marks obtained by them in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and Architectural aptitude test. In case of reserved seats, relative merit of candidates is architectural aptitude test. In case of reserved seats, relative merit of candidates is 15% marks in the aggregate in the entrance test (10% marks for SC/ST candidates) to qualify himself. Candidates who qualify the test are informed individually and the list of successful candidates is notified in leading newspapers.

Admission Candidates who qualify CET and desire to seek admission in any of the institutes notified are required to make a separate application to Punjab Technical University in the prescribed application form. The admission brochure-cum-application form can be obtained from the PTU Camp office/notified institutions/engineering colleges/departments and Directorate of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Room No. 208, Plot No.1 Sector 36-A, Chandigarh from May 11 onwards on payment of Rs. 250. Completed application should reach the CET Cell, Punjab Technical University, and Jalandhar 144011 by the notified date
(6th July).

Medical Exam in PUNJAB

PUNJAB MEDICAL ENTRANCE TEST (PMET) is conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot through Guru Nanak Dev Univ, Amritsar for admission to MBBS/BDS/BAMS courses in following College: MBBS Medical College, Amritsar (150 seats); Medical College, Patiala (150); Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Faridkot (50); Dayanand Medical College, Ludhiana (70) Shri Guru Ram Dass Instt. of Med. Eligibility Age 17 years on December 31 of the year of admission. Academic qualification XII Std or equivalent with 50% (45% for SC/ST) aggregate marks in Phy, Chem, Biol and English taken together. Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying exam may apply. Candidates should be medically fit.

Application Procedure Prospectus containing syllabus, admission form and other relevant information can be obtained from the medical colleges/specified authorities on cash payment of Rs.200 or Rs.215, if required by registered post. Completed application alongwith a fee of Rs.600 (Rs.300 for SC/ST Candidates) candidates) through crossed bank draft should reach by registered A/D to the Coordinator PMET, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar (or as notified) by the prescribed date.

Selection Merit in the Competitive Entrance Exam (PMET) in Phy, Chem, Biol and Zool of 2.5 hours duration. Total Marks for the PMET is 800 with 200 questions (50 each for PCBZ) Each question will carry 4 marks and for each wrong answer 1 Marks is deducted. The exam is on the pattern of CBSE syllabus with multiple choice questions. Centres: Abohar, Amritsar, Bhatinda, Chandigarh, Faridkot, Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Patiala and Pathankot, Merit list is notified in Local dailies.

Candidates are also required to appear in the interview on the specified date at Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot.
