We have discussed

but there is seat preference for domicile students of Rajasthan. Below

Management
Exam in RAJASTHAN
Rajasthan
Management Admission Test (RMAT) is conducted by one of the Universities
in the State for admission to MBA/MMS course in 9 Management Faculties/Institutions
of the Universities of Jai Narain Vyas, Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati, Mohanlal
Sukhadia and Rajasthan. For 1997-98 and 1998-99 sessions, Mohanlal Sukhadia
University conducted RMAT.
COMMON

Reservations SC 15% ST 7.5% on available free seats.
Eligibility
MBA Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) in any discipline with 50% marks (45% for
SC/ST). Candidates appearing in final year degree exam can apply for provisional
admission. MBA (PT) Inservice graduates with 2 years experience as executive.
Application
procedure
Application form and RMAT Information Bulletin can be obtained from the
Coordinator RMAT, Faculty of Management Institutions in the State on payment
of Rs. 600 through bank draft in favour of Coordinator, RMAT. Completed
application should reach the Coordinator, RMAT by the notified date.
Candidates are also required to fill the admission form of the institutions
of their choice (enclosed in RMAT bulletin). Admission form alongwith
bank draft of Rs. 150 is required to be sent to the concerned institute.
Selection Common entrance test conducted at Ajmar, Ahmedabad, Bangalore,
Bikaner, Calcutta, Chandigarh, Hyderbad, Indore, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota,
Lucknow, New Delhi, Varanasi and Udaipur centres. Shortlisted candidates
are called for group discussion and interview by the respective institute.
Weightage is given for academic record.
Engineering
Exam in RAJASTHAN
PRE-ENGINEERING
TEST (PET) is
conducted by Malaviya Regional Engineering College, Jaipur for admission
to BE/B Tech/B Arch/B Text courses at College of Technology and Agricultural
Engineering, Udaipur; Engineering College, Ajmer; Engineering College
Kota; M B M Engineering College Jodhpur; M L V Textile Institute, Bhilwara;
Mody College of Engineering & Technology, Lakshmangarh; Malaviya Regional
Engineering College, Jaipur; and other 16 Regional Engineering Colleges
in the country for seats allotted to State of Rajasthan.
COMMON DETAILS are given hereunder:
Admission is open to candidate who has continuously studied
for last 5 yrs in Rajasthan or his/her father/mother is a bonafide resident
of the State and the candidate has passed the qualifying exam from Rajasthan.
Exemption: Children of Serving/retired employees of State Government/Undertaking/Rajasthan
Board/Engineering Colleges/Panchayats or serving Central Govt. employees
of Rajasthan origin who have put in 3 yrs service.
Candidates
seeking admission to Regional Engineering Colleges should
have passed the qualifying exam from a colleges/School located in Rajasthan.
Reservations

Eligibility
Age 17-23 yrs on 1st October. Academic qualification 12 yrs
Sr Sec exam with Phy, Chem, Maths and Eng. or equivalent. Candidates
who have appeared in the qualifying exam are also eligible. Candidates
should be medically fit.
Application
Procedure Information Booklet for PET and application form
can be obtained from the Engineering Colleges on payment as notified.
Completed application with test fee of Rs 300 should reach the Coordinator,
PET… Malaviya Regional Engineering College, Jaipur 302017 by the prescribed
date.
Selection
Merit in PET conducted in the subjects of Phy, Chem and Maths.
Centers: Ajmer, Alwar, Bikaner, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Jaipur, Jhunjhnu,
Jodhpur, Kota, Sriganganagar and Udaipur. The question papers in all
the subjects consist of multiple choice objective type questions. The
list of qualified candidates is notified in order of merit: these candidates
are called for counselling. They are required to deposit a sum of Rs.
5,000 (Rs. 2,000 for SC/ST) at the time of counselling.
Cash
Awards The first 10 Position holders in order of merit in PET
are warded cash prizes.
Medical
Exam in RAJASTHAN
PRE-MEDICAL
TEST (PMT) is conducted by Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur
for admission to MBBS/BDS courses in medical/dental colleges in the
State; MBBS J L N Medical College Ajmer (100 seats); S P Medical College,
Bikaner (110); S M S Medical College, Jaipur (150); Dr S N Medical
College, Jodhpur (100); Government Medical College, Kota (60); R N
T Medical College, Udaipur (100); BDS Dental Wing, S M S Medical College,
Jaipur (40). Exemptions Government of India nominees.
COMMON
DETAILS are given hereunder:
Admission
is open to candidates who have continuously studied for last 3 years
of qualifying exam in Rajasthan. Exceptions (a) Candidates whose parents
have resided in the State for 10 yrs with 5 yrs study in Rajasthan;
(b) Sons/daughters of serving/retired employees of State Government
including All India Services Borne on the State Cadre of Rajasthan;
or employees of Undertaking/Municipal Bodies/Universities in State
or Secondary Boards or son/daughter of a permanent employee of Defence
Services who are of Rajasthan origin or posted in Rajasthan.
Reservations
All India entrance 15% Central Govt nominees 214 seats (4 in each
of the medical colleges) 1 seat in each medical college for repatriates
from Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Uganda, Zaire and Vietnam who migrated to
India during last 5 years). Sons/daughters of defence personnel (serving/retired)
3 seats SC 8% ST 6% (25% seats are reserved for girls candidates out
of SC/ST reserved quota) Girl candidates (General) 25% Physically
handicapped 2 seats.
Eligibility Age 17 yrs on December 31 of the year of admission.
Academic qualification 12 yrs Senior Secoundary with Eng, Phy, Chem
and Biol, BSc degree holders in the prescribed subjects are also eligible
provided the candidate has passed qualifying exam with Eng, Phy, Chem
and Biol. Candidates should be medically fit. Candidates who have
appeared in the qualifying exam and whose results have not been declared
are also eligible for PMT.
Application Procedure Application form and guidelines for PMT
can be obtained from the Controller of Examinations (PMT), Jai Narain
Vyas University, Jodhpur, or as notified on cash payment of Rs.80.
The form can also be obtained by post on remittance of Rs.105 by Bank
Draft. Completed applications alongwith test fee of Rs. 300 through
bank draft in favor of the Registrar, Jai Narain University, should
reach the Controller of Examination (PMT), M.B.M Engineering College,
Faculty of Engineering, Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur-342011
by the notified date.
Selection Merit in PMT in the subjects of Phy, Chem, Zool and
Bot of 2 hours duration each. The questions consist of multiple choice/objective
type. Centres: Ajmer, Alwar, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Bikaner, Dausa,
Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jhunjhunu, Kota, Sriganganagar and Udaipur.
Interview Candidates eligible of admission are called for interview
by the principal , S M S Medical College, Jaipur or as notified. The
list of eligible candidates is notified in the College. The Board
allot to the selected candidates to various medical colleges as per
the merit and choice of the candidate.

PRE-PHARMACY
TEST
is conducted by Maharashi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer or
as notified for admission to BPharm/DPharm courses in Pharmacy Colleges
in the State for free and payment seats.
COMMON

Distribution
of Seats Free Seats 50% (Open to bonafide residents of Rajasthan)
Payment Seats 50%.
Eligibility 12 yr Hr Sec exam or its equivalent with Eng, Phy,
Chem, Biol/Maths taken together securing 50% marks (36% for SC/ST
candidates). DPharm holders securing 50% marks are also eligible.
Application Procedure Application form and PPT guidelines can
be obtained from the University on cash payment of Rs. 120 if required
by post. Completed application alongwith test fee of Rs 240 (or Rs.350
in the case when a candidate applies for both DPharm and BPharm courses)
Should reach the officer-incharge, PPT ….. Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati
University, Ajmer by the notified date.
Selection Merit in Pre-Pharmacy Test conducted in the subjects
of Phy, Chem, Biol or Maths.
Fees Free Seats Rs.8,000 per annum; Payments Seats Rs. 18,000
per annum (subject to revision by State Govt).
