Academic qualification Higher Sec ( XII std) exam
with Phy, Chem, Maths and Eng of Maharashtra Board of
Secondary Education. Pune or its equivalent exam at one
and the same sitting securing 50% marks in aggregate.
SC/ST candidates should have obtained 45% marks of PCM
with a pass in Eng. Candidate should have passed the qualifying
exam. From the School/College located in Maharashtra.
Direct admission to second year is allowed to 3 years
diploma holders with first class from Maharashtra.
Application Procedure Application form and prospectus
can be obtained from the college on payment of Rs. 250
or as notified through crossed IP/DD drawn in favour of
Principal, VRCE Nagpur payable at Nagpur GPO. The requisition
should be accompanied by a self-addressed envelope of
24-x 16-cm with postage stamps of Rs. 10. Completed application
with registration fee should reach the College by the
notified date. Application form and booklet containing
detailed information for admission in case of candidates
seeking admission against the seats ALLOTTED TO MAHARASHTRA
in other RECs can be had from Assistant Educational Adviser
(T), MHRD (Dept of Education), Western Regional Office,
Industrial Assurance Bldg., Churchgate, Mumbai 400001.
Method of Selection Be on merit as determined on the
basis of marks obtained in Phy, Chem and Maths at the
qualifying exam. B Arch on the basis of marks secured
in Phy, Chem and Maths at the qualifying exam and performance
at the Aptitude test. The aptitude test consists of Visualisation,
free hand drawing observation, memory drawing, colour
sensitivity, viva voce.
Scholarships Besides scholarships, stipends
and freeships are granted by State Government and other
agencies. The college awards Merit & Merit-cum-Means
scholarships of Rs. 75 pm each to 25% students on roll.
Backward class (SC/ST) candidates are awarded Govt. of
India scholarships provided the income received from all
sources does not exceed RS. 25,000 pa.

should satisfy the prescribed medical standards.
