Hindustan
Academy was started in 1986, with the aim to promote quality

Hindustan Academy has an off-campus residence of international
standards. Both single and shared rooms are available, depending
on your choice. Our accommodation guarantees total comport and
convenience and obviates your need to find an accommodation
of your own in Bangalore. Moreever you would feel totally at

HINDUSTAN
AVIATION ACADEMY
The
Academy conducts 3 years Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course
(AME), which is approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation
(DGCA), Govt. of India. It has an annual intake of 120 students.
The course is organized in six semesters and during the final
semester students are sent for practical training to reputed
airlines. On completion of six semesters and after clearing
three DGCA examinations students are awarded the Basic Aircraft
Maintenance Engineering License (BAMEL) which qualify them for
employment in Civil Airlines.
Eligibility
for the course
-
Candidates should have an aggregate of 50% marks in Physics
and Mathematics in 10+2/HSC/PUC/or equivalent.
- Candidates
who possess a Diploma in Engineering (3 years course) with
50% marks in aggregate over the three year period are also
eligible for this course.
Training
After completion of 5 semesters at academy, the Students are
sent to Aviation organizations such as Air India, King Fisher
Airlines, Air Deccan or any approved aviation organization to
gain on-the job training (OJT) in the related field for a period
of six months. This total period of 3 years is counted as an
aviation experience by the DGCA for employment. Students can
choose either "Mechanical"or "Avionics" stream as specialization
from the third semester onwards.
Admission
Requirements for HINDUSTAN AVIATION ACADEMY:
He
should have passed in 10+2 / PUC / Intermediate or equivalent
examination with Maths and Physics with an aggregate of 50%
from any recognised Indian or Foreign University / Board, which
qualifies him for admission to degree courses.
OR
Aggregate 50% for Diploma in Engineering / Studentship examination
of Aeronautical Society of India / AMIE (Institution of Engineers).
- Admission
for AME course is open from 01April onwards. Application with
prospectus are available at the Academy office on payment
of Rs. 250/-.Submit the application with the following

registration fee of Rs 2000/- (non refundable) by demand draft
in favour of Hindustan Aviation Academy, payable at Bangalore.
- For
foreign nationals, a non refundable registration fee of US$100
is applicable.
- 3
sets of attested photocopies of certificates and original
mark sheet of Qualifying Examinations passed.
- Conduct
certificates.
- Six
recent passport size colour photographs.
- Medical
certificates; physical fitness and colour vision test.
